Projects in the wine, juice, dairy and olive oil industry are handled through the following phases.
• Feasibility study (cash flow analysis)
• Cost estimation
• Layout Planning and Preliminary Design
• Detail Design
• Contract Management plus Cost Control
• Project Management
• Commissioning Assistance
The master plan will be formulated after careful exchange of information with you and will be followed by a report that will contain:
Statistics and estimations of production.
Documentation of production capacity for each phase in the production of the wine from reception to bottling and dispatch.
Description of each step in the process and the capacity accepted.
Layout plans of the first phase and ultimate phase of development.
Cost estimation of first phase of development and total for all phases.
The above documentation in report no. 1, intensively discussed with the client, then adapted and followed by report no. 2.
The layout plans will be available on a CAD plan file.
This will include detail plans for:
Tanks, off-loading equipment, pipelines (water, cooling medium), electricity needs, the form of building, form of concrete work required and drainage system, etc. all on CAD plan. This excludes the static design by a Civil Engineer and Architectural input.
Destemmer crusher, presses, filters, tanks, cooling plant, pipelines, pumps, conveyors, walkways, bottling equipment as may be required.
This will include the compiling of specifications and forms of offer for the obtaining of quotations from different suppliers. The check and presentations of these offers and report to the client for final decision. The form of offer also forms a pro-forma contract between the client and the supplier. The summary of the above, comparison and adjustment of cost estimation.
If necessary, this could be handled by WJB or in co-operation with the local Architects or Civil Engineers. This would also include the complete project management and cost control.
This is the final stage where WJB could assist in the preparation of the project (complete with equipment). This would imply cleaning of machines, testing, dry run and finally the first run with the product.
It is normal that in some projects, the company is commissioned for part of the above mentioned package only.
