Haras de Pirque has a unique wine cellar. 5,300 Square meters and with a capacity of 1,5 million litres, it’s architecture has the shape of a horseshoe, in direct reference to the link of the vineyard with the haras of thoroughbred horses.
To be raised in the hillside that presides over the large property, different fermentation vessels have amongst themselves a marked drop, allowing to handle grapes and musts by gravity, by limiting the use of motor pumps and other systems of movement of wine.
This prevents the risk of oxidation and loss off organoleptic characteristics of the wine. The Horseshoe is a true symbol of exclusivity and passion that each one of the products of the vineyard wants to transmit.
